F. Autopilot Engage/Autoland Status
(1)
Autopilot Engage Status
(a)
The status is indicated by one of the following messages. CMD FD TEST
(b)
CMD is displayed if any FCC is engaged in command.
(c)
FD is displayed if a flight director is selected and no FCC is engaged in command.
(d)
TEST is displayed if a FCC is engaged in self-test.
(e)
A change of autopilot engage status is annunciated by a box displayed around the message for ten seconds.
(f)
An invalid mode is annunciated by a blank message field.
(2)
Autoland Status
(a)
The status is indicated by one of the following annunciations: NO AUTOLAND LAND 3 >LAND 2<
(b)
Autoland status has priority over autopilot engage status.
(c)
>LAND 2< is displayed if any FCC indicates LAND 2 status.
(d)
LAND 3 is displayed if at least one FCC indicates LAND 3 status and no FCC indicates LAND 2 status.
(e)
NO AUTOLAND is displayed if at least one FCC indicates NO AUTOLAND status and >LAND 2< or LAND 3 was previously displayed during the current approach flight phase.
(f)
A change of autoland status is annunciated by a box displayed around the annunciation for ten seconds.
(g)
An invalid mode is annunciated by a blank message field.

G. Autothrottle Operational Mode
(1)
The operational mode is indicated by one of the following
annunciations:
SPD
IDLE
TEST
HOLD
THR
THR REF
ALPHA
(2)
A change in the operational mode is annunciated by a green colored box displayed around the annunciation for ten seconds.
(3)
An invalid FMC mode is indicated by a blank message field.
H. Approach Reference Data
(1) The ILS identifier or ILS frequency is conditionally displayed as follows.
(a)
If both the identifier and frequency are valid, the identifier is displayed.
(b)
If the identifier is invalid, the frequency is displayed.
1) If the frequencies from the L,C,R ILS receivers are not identical, a yellow horizontal line is drawn through the center of the frequency readout.
2) If the frequency from the selected ILS receiver is invalid (outside the range 108.00 to 111.95 Mhz), the frequency is not displayed.
(2) The DME distance is conditionally displayed as follows.
(a)
If the onside DME data is valid, the DME legend and readout are displayed.
(b)
If the onside DME data is NCD (No Computed Data), the readout is replaced by three yellow colored dashes.
(c)
If the onside DME data is invalid or failed, the DME legend and readout are not displayed.
I. Decision Height/Radio Altitude
(1) Decision Height (DH)
(a) General 1) Selected decision height is displayed by a green colored DH legend and readout. 2) The display range is from zero to 999 ft. The legend and readout are removed for all other selected values. 3) The decision height is adjusted using the DH/MDA control on the EFIS Control Panel.
