5) Observe and note the eight digit FRM code above each of the status messages. Perform corrective action per the FIM Fault Code Index for all of the status messages.
6) Press the LSK next to the <ERASE STATUS prompt on the PRESENT LEG FAULTS menu. Make sure the status messages are removed from the EICAS status format.

(d) Alternate Bulk Message Erase (Fig. 207) 1) Make sure that no CMCs are installed or both CMC circuit breakers (414L8 and 415L39) are open.
2) Press the STAT key on the EICAS Display Select Panel (DSP). Make sure the EICAS status format is displayed on the auxiliary Display Unit.
3) Observe and note all status messages present on the EICAS status format.
NOTE: Press the STAT key on the EICAS DSP as necessary to
____ view all pages of status messages.
4) Make sure that the last page of status messages is displayed on the EICAS status format. 5) Make sure that corrective maintenance action has been performed for all of the status messages.
6) Simultaneously press and hold the CANC and RCL keys on the EICAS DSP for five seconds. Make sure the status messages are removed from the EICAS status format.

4. Cancel/Recall/Erase Engine Parameter Exceedance_______________________________________________
A. General
(1)
A rotor speed and/or EGT exceedance is annunciated on EICAS when the digital readout and enclosing box change from white to red in color. When the engine parameter exceedance no longer exists, the digital readout will automatically change from red to white in color, however, the enclosing box will remain red in color to annunciate that an engine parameter exceedance has occurred. The enclosing box will remain red in color until the operator manually changes the box to white.

When the digital readout has changed automatically from red to white, the color of the box which encloses the digital readout can then be changed back to white by pressing the CANC switch on the EICAS Display Select Panel. When the color of the box which encloses the digital readout is white and an engine parameter exceedance is recorded in the memory of the EIUs, the red color of the box can be recalled by pressing the RCL switch on the EICAS Display Select Panel.

(3) If an engine parameter exceedance is recorded in the memory of the EIUs, the exceedance can be erased from EIU memory using the EICAS MAINT PAGES menu of the CMC.
NOTE: When an engine parameter exceedance is erased from EIU
____ memory, the record of that exceedance is removed from the EICAS engine exceedance maintenance page.
