 E.  EICAS ECS (Air Supply and Cabin Pressure System) Maintenance Display (Fig. 52)
 (1)  General
 (a)  
ECS (Environmental Control System) parameters for high pressure controller, high pressure valve, pressure regulating valve, engine duct pressure, precooler outlet temperature, fan air valve, starter valve, pressure regulating shutoff valve, manifold duct pressure, cabin altitude, rate, differential pressure, landing altitude, outflow valve position and CPC in control are presented for display.

 (b)  
Manifold duct pressure data is received by the EIU on an ARINC 429 data bus from the Zone Temperature Controller (ZTC).

 (c)  
Cabin altitude and cabin rate are calculated by the EIU based on a cabin pressure signal received from the Cabin Pressure Controller System (CPCS). A backup analog cabin pressure signal is received by the EIU for the cabin altitude and rate calculations in case of a CPCS failure.

 (d)  
Differential pressure is calculated by the EIU using cabin pressure and an ambient pressure signal received on an ARINC 429 data bus from the Air Data Computer (ADC).
