Make sure the lights on the front of each printed-circuit card come on. 1) The lights will only be on for less than 30 seconds, and
then go off.
(c)
A RED light that stays on for more than 30 seconds shows that the card is defective.
(d)
AIRPLANES WITHOUT ACARS; A YELLOW light in the SCID 1 card will stay on at all times.

(5) Make sure the airplane tail identification number is correct.
(a) Make a printer report of one CMCS message on the present leg faults display: 1) On a CDU, push the MENU key. 2) Push the line select key adjacent to <CMC. 3) Push the line select key adjacent to <PRESENT LEG FAULTS. 4) Push the line select key adjacent to a flight deck effect
with a caret symbol (<). 5) When the PRESENT LEG MSG display shows, push the line
select key adjacent to report>. 6) Push the line select key adjacent to <PRINTER. 7) When REPORT COMPLETE shows above <PRINTER, remove the
report from the printer. a) Make sure the airplane tail identification number on the report is correct.
NOTE: The airplane tail identification number is the
____ first set of charaters on the second line of the header of the report.

(6) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

MAWEA CARD FILE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the MAWEA card file. The second is for the installation of the MAWEA card file.
B. The MAWEA card file is installed in the area forward of the main
equipment center.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7A01, MAWEA PWR A
2) 7B01, MAWEA PWR B

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE
_______ MAWEA PRINTED-CIRCUIT CARDS. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PRINTED-CIRCUIT CARDS.
(2) Remove the printed-circuit cards from the MAWEA card file (AMM 31-51-02/401).
