CAUTION: WHEN THE WEATHER RADAR TRANSMITS RF ENERGY, MAKE SURE
_______ THERE ARE NO LARGE METAL OBJECTS IN AN AREA 300 FEET OR LESS AND IN A 180-DEGREE SECTOR IN FRONT OF THE AIRPLANE. IF LARGE METAL OBJECTS ARE IN THIS AREA WITH THESE CONDITIONS, DAMAGE TO THE WEATHER RADAR RECEIVER CAN OCCUR.
1) Make sure the ND shows the WRX annunciator on the left side of the display.
(c)
Push the WXR button.
(d)
Push the STA button.
1) Make sure the ND shows the STA annunciator on the left side of the display.
(e)
Push the WPT button.
1) Make sure the ND shows the WPT annunciator on the left side of the display.
(f)
Push the ARPT button.
1) Make sure the ND shows the ARPT annunciator on the left side of the display.
(g)
Push the DATA button.
1) Make sure the ND shows the waypoint data.
(h)
Push the POS button. 1) Make sure the ND shows the IRS position indicator.

(4) Do a test of the DH MDA switch:
(a)
Set the switch to the DH position.
(b)
Turn the center knob on the switch clockwise and counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the decision height (DH) on the PFD changes when
you turn the center knob.
(c)
Turn the center knob on the switch to show a DH of 0.
(d)
Push and hold the TEST button on the radio altimeter R/T, which is found in the E9 rack on the center equipment bay. 1) Make sure that the PFD shows an altitude of approximately
40 feet.
(e)
Turn the center knob on the switch clockwise until the DH is equal to the radio altimeter altitude. 1) Make sure that the white DH annunciator becomes amber and
that it flashes momentarily.
(f)
Push the RST button on the switch. 1) Make sure that the amber DH annunciator becomes white.
(g)
Release the TEST button on the radio altimeter R/T.
(h)
Set the switch to the MDA position.
(i)
Turn the center knob on the switch clockwise and counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the minimum descent altitude (MDA) changes on the
PFD when you turn the center knob.

1) Make sure the PFD shows the selected and the actual altitudes in feet only.
