(3) Remove the source select module:
(a)
Remove the screws from the module.
(b)
Pull the module until you can get access to the electrical connectors on the rear of the unit.
(c)
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the module.
(d)
Install dust caps on the electrical connectors.

P6, Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6E19, CAPT PANEL FLT DK LIGHTS 2) 6E23, F/O PANEL FLT DK LIGHTS

(2) Install the source select module:
(a) Remove the dust caps from the electrical connectors.

(b)
Examine the electrical connectors for loose, bent, or broken pins.
(c)
Connect the electrical connectors to the module.
(d)
Put the module into the instrument panel.
(e)
Install the screws into the front of the module.

(3) Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel

2) 7F10, EIU C

Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do a test of the source select module:
(a)
Set the INBD CRT and LWR CRT switches on the display transfer modules to the NORM position.
(b)
Set the EIU SEL switch on the EICAS control panel/FMC switch to the AUTO position.
(c)
Set the EIU switches on the source select modules to the AUTO position.
(d)
Make sure the integrated display units (IDUs) show these formats: 1) The outboard IDUs show the PFD format. 2) The inboard IDUs show the ND format. 3) The upper IDU shows the EICAS primary engine format.
(e)
Set the FLT DIR/PVD switches on the source select modules (P1 and P3) to the R position. 1) Make sure that the PFDs do not show the flight
director (FD) flag.
(f)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
a) 7D15, FLT CONT CMPTR R PWR

Make sure the PFDs show the FD flag.
(h)
Close this circuit breaker:
1) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
a) 7D15, FLT CONT CMPTR R PWR
(i)
Set the NAV switches on the source select modules to the CDU C position. 1) Make sure that the CDU C display is on the lower left
corner of the NDs.
