(2) Verify that equipment cooling system is operating by listening for the sound of the supply fan and the sound of the exhaust fan.
NOTE: The supply and exhaust fans are both located in the forward
____ cargo compartment. The supply fan is located behind the left-hand sidewall of Sta 560. The exhaust fan is located behind the right-hand sidewall at Sta 520.
The fans operate at approximately 11,400 rpm.

(a) To remove an engine parameter exceedance annunciation, press the CANC switch on the EICAS Display Select Panel. Make sure that the box which encloses the digital readout changes from red to white in color.

(b) To recall an engine parameter exceedance annunciation, press the RCL switch on the EICAS Display Select Panel. Make sure that the box which encloses the digital readout changes from white to red in color.

(5) Erase Engine Parameter Exceedance (Fig. 212)
NOTE: If an engine parameter exceedance is erased using the CMC,
____ the record of that exceedance will be erased from the EICAS engine exceedance maintenance page.
(a)
Press the MENU key on the CDU. Make sure the CDU MENU is displayed.
(b)
Press the line select key (LSK) next to the <CMC prompt. Make sure the CMC MENU is displayed.
(c)
Press the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU as necessary to access the <EICAS MAINT PAGES prompt on the CMC MENU.
(d)
Press the LSK next to the <EICAS MAINT PAGES prompt. Make sure the EICAS MAINTENANCE PAGES menu is displayed.
(e)
Press the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU as necessary to access the <73 ENG EXCD prompt on the EICAS MAINTENANCE PAGES menu.
(f)
Press the LSK next to the <73 ENG EXCD prompt on the EICAS MAINTENANCE PAGES menu. Make sure the EICAS PAGE CONTROL menu is displayed.
