 1)  P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) 7F15, EIU R

 2)  Make sure the upper and lower IDUs show these formats: a) Upper IDU the EICAS primary engine parameters format. b) Lower IDU the EICAS secondary engine parameters format.
 (h)  Set the EIU SEL switch to the AUTO position.

 (5)  Do a test of the BRT switches:
 (a)  
Adjust the BRT UPR control knob clockwise and counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the upper IDU becomes brighter when you adjust the knob clockwise.

 2)  Make sure the upper IDU becomes dimmer when you adjust the knob counterclockwise.

 (b)  
Push the ENG button on the EICAS DSP if it is necessary to show the EICAS secondary format on the lower IDU. 1) Make sure the lower IDU shows the EICAS secondary engine

 parameter format.

 (c)  
Adjust the outer BRT LWR control knob clockwise and counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the lower IDU becomes brighter when you adjust

 the knob clockwise. 2) Make sure the lower IDU becomes dimmer when you adjust the knob counterclockwise.

 (d)  
Set the LWR CRT switch on the captain's display select panel to the ND position. 1) Make sure the lower IDU shows the ND format.

 (e)  
Set the selector switch for the ND mode on the captain's EFIS control panel to the MAP position.

 (f)  
Push the WXR switch on the captain's EFIS control panel to the ON position.

 (g)  
Set the mode selector switch on the control panel for the weather radar to the TEST position.


 CAUTION: WHEN THE WEATHER RADAR TRANSMITS RF ENERGY, MAKE SURE
_______ THERE ARE NO LARGE METAL OBJECTS IN AN AREA 300 FEET OR LESS AND IN A 180-DEGREE SECTOR IN FRONT OF THE AIRPLANE. IF LARGE METAL OBJECTS ARE IN THIS AREA WITH THESE CONDITIONS, DAMAGE TO THE WEATHER RADAR RECEIVER CAN OCCUR.
 (h)  
Adjust the inner BRT LWR control knob clockwise and counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the lower IDU raster becomes brighter when you

 adjust the knob clockwise. 2) Make sure the lower IDU raster becomes dimmer when you adjust the knob counterclockwise.

 (i)  
Push the WXR switch on the captain's EFIS control panel to the OFF position.

 (6) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
 I.  EICAS Display Select Panel (DSP) Test

 (1)  Do a test of the EICAS DSP:
 (a)  
Open this circuit breaker:

 1)  P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel a) 7F11, EFIS CONT L

 (b)  
Push the ENG button on the EICAS DSP.

 1)  Make sure the lower IDU shows the secondary engine parameter.

 (c)  
Push the STAT button on the EICAS DSP. 1) Make sure the lower IDU shows the status page.

 (d)  
Push the ELEC button on the EICAS DSP. 1) Make sure the lower IDU shows the electrical synoptic page.

 (e)  
Push the FUEL button on the EICAS DSP.

 1)  Make sure the lower IDU shows the synoptic page for the fuel system.

 (f)  
Push the ECS button on the EICAS DSP.

 1)  Make sure the lower IDU shows the synoptic page for the environmental control system.

 (g)  
Push the HYD button on the EICAS DSP.

 1)  Make sure the lower IDU shows the synoptic page for the hydraulic system.

 (h)  
Push the DRS button on the EICAS DSP.


 1)  Make sure the lower IDU shows the synoptic page for the doors.
