 b)  Each new anomaly will cause an automatic display change when the exceeded secondary engine parameter is not already being presented on the auxiliary display.
If a new secondary anomaly occurs while the associated
 parameter is not being displayed, then the auxiliary
 display will automatically present an EICAS
 secondary-partial format.
 a)  Normal secondary engine parameters will not be displayed.
 b)  All engine oil parameters will always be presented as a group.
 c)  Even if the anomalous secondary engine parameters return to the normal operating range, the EICAS displays will remain unchanged until a new exceedance occurs, or an EICAS DSP switch is pressed.
Depression of the STAT or any of the synoptic switches on
 the EICAS DSP will cause the following to occur:
 a)  If the secondary-partial format is presently being displayed, the auxiliary display will indicate the format associated with the depressed switch. The main display will change to indicate a compacted-partial format. The normal secondary parameters will not be displayed.
 b)  If the format associated with the depressed switch is presently being displayed, the auxiliary display will change to a secondary-partial format. The main display will present the EICAS primary format.
 c)  The STAT switch is an exception to the above as it also controls the paging of status messages. When the status format is initially presented, the first page of status messages, if any, are displayed. If more than one page of status messages exists, each successive depression of the STAT switch will cause the next page of status messages to be displayed. When the last page of status messages (or no messages) is displayed, depression of the STAT switch will deselect the status format by changing the main and auxiliary displays to primary and secondary engine parameter formats.
Depression of the ENG switch on the EICAS DSP will cause
 the following response.
 a)  The main display will present an EICAS primary engine parameter format.
 b)  If the secondary-partial format is presently being displayed, the auxiliary display will change to a secondary-full format.
 c)  If a status, synoptic, or maintenance format is presently being displayed, the auxiliary display will change to a secondary-full format.

 (d) Degraded Mode Operation 1) The following describes the display control for manual selection/automatic initiation of display formats when only one EICAS capable DU is available.
 2)  The EICAS DSP switches listed below are used for controlling their associated formats on the operational EICAS DU. All other EICAS DSP switches are inhibited and are non-functional.
 ENG - Primary/compacted engine FUEL - Fuel quantity mini GEAR - Brake temperature mini
 3)  Depressing the ENG switch will cause the following response. a) If the primary engine format is displayed, it will be
 replaced with a compacted-full format.
 b)  If a compacted with mini fuel or gear format is displayed, it will be replaced with a compacted-full format.
 c) If a compacted-partial format is displayed, it will be replaced by a compacted-full format. d) If a compacted-full format is displayed, it will be replaced with a primary format.
 e)  If a compacted-full format is displayed and a secondary engine parameter exceedance still exists, it will be replaced with a compacted-partial format.
 4)  Depressing the FUEL or GEAR switch will cause the following response. a) If the associated mini format is not being displayed,
 the DU will present a compacted engine and mini format. b) If the associated mini format is displayed, the DU will present a primary format.
 c)  If the associated mini format is being displayed and a secondary parameter anomaly still exists, the DU will present a compacted-partial format.
 d)  If a new secondary parameter anomaly occurs and its associated parameter is not displayed, the display will be replaced with a compacted-partial format.
