 (c)
If the CANC switch has not been pressed, the most recent messages of each priority group will always appear on page 1. Any message which occurred earlier will overflow into the non-displayed pages. All crew alerting messages are real time and are active only while their defining condition exists. Thus, messages will self-clear when the condition which initiated them ceases to exist.

 (d)
A STATUS cue will be displayed below the message list whenever an EICAS message becomes active. This cue will be reset when the status format is selected, or will self-clear when the condition which initiated the cue self-clears.

 In-Flight Start Envelope

 (a)  Indicates the allowable range of computed airspeeds for an in-flight engine restart. This information is displayed below the EICAS message field if any engine is shutdown during flight. The present altitude is displayed in units of ft x 100 and the speed range is displayed in units of knots.

 Landing Gear (Fig. 34)

 (a)
Two types of landing gear position indicators may be displayed.

 (b)
During normal conditions, a single gear indicator represents the conditions for the nose, wing and body gear. 1) A white colored UP annunciator is displayed if all gears

are up and locked. A green colored DOWN annunciator is displayed if all gears are down and locked. If the gear is in transit, a white colored //// is displayed.
 2)  The entire gear feature is removed if the gear display has indicated UP for ten seconds.
