Open these circuit breakers:
1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
a) 7C23, FMCS FMC R
2) Make sure the ND does not shows XXXX NM and XXXX Z on the right side at the top of the screen.
(d)
Set the NAV switch to the FMC L position.
1) Make sure the ND shows XXXX NM and XXXX Z on the right side at the top of the screen.
(e)
Close these circuit breakers:
1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
a) 7C23, FMCS FMC R
(f)
Open these circuit breakers:
1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
a) 7C1, FMCS FMC L
2) Make sure the ND does not shows XXXX NM and XXXX Z on the right side at the top of the screen.
(g)
Set the NAV switch to the FMC R position.
1) Make sure the ND shows XXXX NM and XXXX Z on the right side at the top of the screen.
(h)
Close these circuit breakers:
1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
a) 7C1, FMCS FMC L
(i)
Set the NAV switch to the CDU C position.
1) Make sure the ND shows CDU C on the left side at the bottom of the screen.
(j)
Set the captain's NAV switch to the CDU L position.
1) Make sure the captain's ND shows CDU L on the left side at the bottom of the screen.
(k)
Set the first officer's NAV switch to the CDU R position.
1) Make sure the first officer's ND shows CDU R on the left side at the bottom of the screen.
(l)
Set the captain's NAV switch to the FMC L position.
(m)
Set the first officer's NAV switch to the FMC R position.

(3) Do a test of the EIU switch:
(a)
Set the EIU switch to the R position.
(b)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P7 Overhead circuit breaker panel
a) 7F15, EIU R
2) Make sure the outboard and the inboard IDUs go out of view.
(c)
Set the EIU switch to the C position.
1) Make sure the outboard and the inboard IDUs show the PFD and the ND format.
(d)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P7 Overhead circuit breaker panel
a) 7F10, EIU C
2) Make sure the outboard and the inboard IDUs go out of view.
(e)
Set the EIU switch to the L position.
1) Make sure the outboard and the inboard IDUs show the PFD and the ND format.
(f)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P7 Overhead circuit breaker panel
a) 7F9, EIU L
2) Make sure that all of the IDUs go out of view.
(g)
Set the EIU switch to the AUTO position.
(h)
Close these circuit breakers:
1) P7 Overhead circuit breaker panel
a) 7F15, EIU R
b) 7F10, EIU C
c) 7F9, EIU L
2) Make sure the outboard and the inboard IDUs show the PFD and the ND format.

(4) Do a test of the IRS switch:
(a)
Set the IRS L, C, and R, switches on the IRS mode selector switch to the ATT position.
(b)
Set the IRS switch on the source select module to the L position. 1) Make sure the PFD does not show the ATT flag.
(c)
Set the IRS L switch on the mode selector unit to the OFF position. 1) Make sure the PFD shows the ATT flag.
(d)
Set the IRS switch on the source select module to the C position. 1) Make sure the PFD does not show the ATT flag.
(e)
Set the IRS C switch on the mode selector unit to the OFF position. 1) Make sure the PFD shows the ATT flag.
