Set the AIR DATA switch to the L position.

(a) Adjust the OUTBD CRT control knob clockwise and counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the outboard IDU becomes brighter when you adjust
the knob clockwise. 2) Make sure the outboard IDU becomes dimmer when you adjust the knob counterclockwise.
