5. Manual Snapshot Recording

A. General
(1)
The manual snapshot record function gives you the alternative to record one or all maintenance pages at the same time.
(2)
You can record snapshots two ways.
(a)
The first one is by the use of the EVENT RCD button in the EICAS control panel/FMC switch.
(b)
The second by the use of a CDU.

D. Make a snapshot with the EVENT RCD button.

CAUTION: DO NOT USE THE EVENT RCD BUTTON TO GET SNAPSHOTS OF THE
_______ MAINTENANCE PAGES IF ONLY ONE PAGE IS NECESSARY. WHEN YOU USE THE EVENT RCD BUTTON YOU WILL GET SNAPSHOTS OF ALL THE PAGES.
(2) Push the EVENT RCD button in the EICAS control panel/FMC switch.
NOTE: Write down the time when you push the button.

(3) Prepare the CDU to look at the snapshot:
(a)
Push the MENU key on the CDU to show the MENU.
(b)
Push the LSK adjacent to the <CMC prompt to show the CMC menu.
NOTE: If the CMC menu is not shown, push the LSK adjacent to
____ the <RETURN prompt if it is necessary until you see the menu.
(c)
Push the LSK adjacent to the <EICAS MAINT PAGES.
(d)
Push the NEXT PAGE key if it is necessary until you find the applicable prompt.
(e)
Push the LSK adjacent to the applicable prompt. 1) Make sure the EICAS PAGE CONTROL menu shows.
(f)
Push the LSK adjacent to the <MANUAL SNAPSHOTS prompt.
