 (2)
The maintenance pages are available for display on the ground or above 10,000 ft. through the Control Display Unit (CDU). The available pages are:

 Flight controls
 Fuel
 ECS (Air Conditioning System)
ECS (Air Supply And Cabin Pressure System)
 Electrical
 Hydraulic
 Performance
 APU
 Configuration
 Engine exceedance
 EPCS
 Gear
 IDS Test

 (3)
Flight control, fuel, ECS, electrical, hydraulic, performance, APU, EPCS and gear data are displayed on the maintenance page. The display data is be obtained directly from airplane sensors and the EIUs (real time). Configuration, engine exceedance and IDS test maintenance pages show static data.

 (4)
Flight control, fuel, ECS, electrical, hydraulic, performance, APU, EPCS and gear maintenance pages can also be shown from an stored 'snapshot'. A snapshot is a maintenance page that has been previously recorded. You access the snapshots through a CMCS menu from any CDU. There are 3 types of snapshots; manual (all pages), manual (one page) and automatic. Manual snapshots of all maintenance pages are done when you push the EVENT RCD switch on the EICAS control panel. Manual snapshots of selected maintenance pages are initiated through the Central Maintenance Computer (CMC). Automatic snapshots are initiated by a system fault or engine exceedance. An automatic record will save the current status of only the Maintenance Page on which the fault or exceedance occurred.

MAINTENANCE MANUAL

A manual event mode is indicated by the message MAN displayed to the right of the maintenance page title. An automatic mode is indicated by the message AUTO displayed to the right of the maintenance page title. No message is shown for real time mode. (Fig. 48) If a snapshot has an EICAS message associated with it, the EICAS message is displayed on the lower left-hand corner of the maintenance page (for auto event only). This indicates that the message and auto snapshot were both caused by the same occurrence or event. EICAS messages are not displayed on manual event or real time maintenance pages. (Fig. 48) The date (day, month, year) and GMT (hours, minutes, seconds) at which a snapshot of a maintenance page was taken is displayed on the lower right-hand corner of the maintenance page.
