Generator Drive
(a) Generator drive disconnect status is displayed by a message enclosed in a colored box. If a drive overtemperature or low oil pressure condition exists, then an amber DRIVE TEMP/PRESS message is displayed within an amber colored box. For normal conditions, a white colored box is displayed. For invalid data, the box changes to low intensity white.
F. EICAS Doors Synoptic Display (Fig. 45)
(1) General
(a)
The doors synoptic display graphically presents the airplane door positions (latched or unlatched). These positions are represented by boxes placed on an airplane body outline.
(b)
An unlatched door is represented by an amber colored box. If a door is latched, the respective box is removed.
G. EICAS Gear Synoptic Display (Fig. 46)
(1)
General
(a) The gear synoptic display presents brake temperature, gear door position and disabled systems information.
(2)
Brake Temperature (BRAKE TEMP)
(a) Brake temperatures for all wheels are displayed by white colored digital readouts. The readouts are enclosed in wheel symbols and the temperature units are scaled from zero to nine. The readouts change color from white to amber if a brake temperature exceedance occurs.
(3)
Gear Door Position (GEAR DOORS)
(a) Gear door position is displayed below each wheel truck symbol. If a gear door is closed, a white colored CLOSED message is displayed within a white box. If a gear door is open, or in the process of opening, a white colored in-transit symbol (cross-hatched box) is displayed.

H. EICAS Mini Format Displays (Fig. 47)
(1)
General
(a)
The brake temperature and fuel mini formats are available for display if the EICAS compacted engine parameter format is displayed. When one of the mini formats is selected, it will generally replace the secondary engine parameter display on the EICAS compacted engine parameter format.
(b)
The mini formats can only be displayed if a status, synoptic or maintenance page format is being presented on the auxiliary DU. The mini formats can also be displayed under degraded DU conditions.
(c)
The brake temperature mini format is selected for display by pressing the GEAR switch on the EICAS DSP.
(d)
The fuel mini format is selected for display by pressing the FUEL switch on the EICAS DSP.
(2)
Brake Temperature
(a)
Brake temperatures for the wing and body gear are displayed by white colored digital readouts. The readouts are enclosed by boxes and the temperature units are scaled from zero to nine.
(b)
The color of the digital readouts will change from white to amber in color if a brake temperature exceedance occurs.
(3)
Fuel Quantity
(a)
Fuel quantity is displayed in units of kgs x 1000.
