(6) Engine Bleed
(a) Engine bleed status for engines 1 through 4 is displayed by colored symbology. For an OPEN VALVE symbol, two parallel lines are displayed within a circle. These parallel lines overlay the bleed line. For a CLOSED VALVE symbol, a white colored message (OFF) is displayed within a colored circle. The following table represents the display logic for the engine bleed valves.

Thermal Anti-Ice
(a) Active Wing Thermal Anti-Ice (WING TAI) and Nacelle Thermal Anti-Ice (NAC TAI) systems are indicated by green colored flow segments which point toward the respective WING TAI or NAC TAI messages. If the systems are inactive, the flow segments are not illuminated.

Duct Pressure
(a) Left and right duct pressure is displayed by digital readouts enclosed by boxes. Pressure is displayed in units of psi. The readouts change color from white to amber if duct pressure is less than or equal to 11 psi.
(9)
External Air Message (EXT AIR)
(a) Indicates the use of external air from a ground cart.
D. EICAS Hydraulic Synoptic Display (Fig. 43)
(1) General
(a) The hydraulic synoptic display represents graphic views and parameters for hydraulic temperature, pressure, quantity, shutoff valve position status, demand pump status, auxiliary ac motor pump status, engine-driven pump status and fluid flow.

(b) Hydraulic fluid flow is indicated by illuminated green colored flow segments. Demand pump flow, engine driven pump flow and auxiliary ac motor pump flow from the hydraulic tank to the system is indicated when the green colored segment is illuminated within the box which represents the respective pump.
(2)
Temperature
(a) Hydraulic temperature is displayed by white colored digital readouts in units of °C. If a hydraulic system overheat condition occurs, the readouts change from white to amber in color.
(3)
Pressure
(a) Hydraulic pressure is displayed by white colored digital readouts in units of psi. If a hydraulic system low pressure condition occurs, the readouts change from white to amber in color.
(4)
Quantity
(a) Hydraulic quantity is displayed by digital readouts and analog level indicators. Digital readout units are scaled (1.00 = 100% full). The messages LO (low oil quantity) and RF (refill) are displayed to indicate low hydraulic quantity conditions. The analog level bar is removed when the digital readout indicates zero. The scaling for the analog tank level indicator is 0.0 full at the bottom of the tank and 1.5 full at the top.
