2) Make sure the lower IDU becomes dimmer when you adjust the knob counterclockwise.

Turn the BRT LWR control knob to the middle position.
(f)
Push the MENU key on a CDU to show the MENU.
(g)
Push the line select key (LSK) that is adjacent to <CMC to show the CMC menu.
(h)
If <RETURN shows after you push the LSK, push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN until you see the CMC MENU.
(i)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <GROUND TESTS to show the GROUND TESTS menu.
(j)
Push the NEXT PAGE key, if necessary, until you find the <FLIGHT MANAGEMENT prompt.
(k)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <FLIGHT MANAGMENT to show the FLIGHT MANAGEMENT menu.
(l)
Set the FMC switch on the EICAS control panel/FMC switch to the L position. 1) Make sure the CDU shows INHIBITED on the top of the <FMC-R
prompt.
(m)
Set the FMC switch to the R position.
1) Make sure the CDU shows INHIBITED on the top of the <FMC-L prompt.

EICAS DISPLAY SELECT PANEL - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This subject has two tasks. The first task is to remove the EICAS display select panel. The second task is to install the EICAS display select panel. The installation task includes a test of the installation of the select panel.
B. The EICAS display select panel is on the right side of the autoflight control panel, P10. The display select panel is held into the P10 panel by two screws.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7F9, EIU L
2) 7F10, EIU C
3) 7F15, EIU R

(2) Remove the display select panel:
(a) Remove the screws from the bottom of the P10 panel.
NOTE: Keep these screws for the select panel installation.

(b)
Pull the select panel until you can get access to the
electrical connector(s) on the rear of the panel.
(c) Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the panel.
(d)
Install dust caps on the electrical connector(s).
