 Engine Vibration Data (VIB)

 (a)  N1 rotor vibration (N1), N2 rotor vibration (N2), broadband vibration (BB), and the rotor imbalance phase angle (N1PH) are displayed for engines 1 thru 4. The vibration readouts are scaled from zero to five units and an accelerometer source channel (A or B) is annunciated for each engine.

 (13)
 Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR) Data

 (a)  
EPR maximum (EPR MAX) is displayed for engines 1 thru 4. The EPR MAX values are calculated by the FMC's thrust management function. These values indicate the maximum thrust limit which is dependent upon atmospheric temperature, pressure and altitude.

 (b)  
EPR command (EPR CMD) is displayed for engines 1 thru 4. The EPR CMD values indicate the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) commanded EPR.

 (c)  
Actual EPR (EPR) is displayed for engines 1 thru 4. The displayed values represent the instantaneous actual pressure ratio for the engines.

 N1 Rotor Speed

 (a) Actual N1 rotor speed is displayed in units of percent rpm.

 (15)
 Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT)

 (a)  EGT is displayed in units of °C (Celsius).

 (16)
 N2 Rotor Speed

 (a) Actual N2 rotor speed is displayed in units of percent RPM.

 (17)
 Fuel Flow (FF)

 (a)  Displayed in units of kgm/hour divided by 1000.

 (18)
 Burner Pressure

 (a)  Displayed in units of psi absolute.

 Duct Pressure


 (a) Left and right duct pressures displayed in units of psi.

General

 (a)  
Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) parameters for EGT, N1, N2, oil pressure, oil temperature, oil quantity, air/ground mode, inlet door, starter, ignitor, fuel shutoff solenoids, fuel filter bypass, isolation valve, pneumatic or electrical loading, operating mode, fan valve, inlet air pressure and temperature, load compressor inlet/exit temperature, duct pressure, inlet guide vane, diverter valve, ECS demand, generator loads, battery and APU data are presented for display.

 (b)  
DC voltage and current values are received by the EIU on an ARINC 429 data bus from the Bus Control Unit (BCU).

 (c)  
All other APU maintenance page data is received by the EIU on an ARINC 429 data bus from the APU controller.

 

 (2)  
Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT)


 (a)  APU EGT is represented by a 270 degree circular analog scale with a moving pointer, and as a digital readout enclosed in a box.

 (b)  
The APU EGT scale corresponds to a range of 0-1000°C. When the EGT input becomes negative the readout indicates zero. For EGT greater than 1000°C, the left most digit of the digital readout is removed. The analog scale is limited at the minimum and maximum scale range.
