(5) Obtain Airplane System Information - Non-Normal EICAS Configuration (Fig. 203)
(a) The occurrence of secondary engine parameter exceedance causes EICAS synoptic format or maintenance page to be replaced by EICAS secondary-partial format. The secondary-partial format displays the exceeded secondary parameter.
NOTE: Upon occurrence of secondary exceedance, make sure EICAS
____ secondary-partial is on auxiliary DU.
(b)
Press ENG key on EICAS DSP while EICAS secondary-partial format (with exceeded paramter) is on auxiliary DU. Make sure EICAS secondary-full format (with exceeded parameter) is on auxiliary DU.
(c)
Press ELEC, FUEL, ECS, HYD, DRS or GEAR key on EICAS DSP while EICAS secondary format (partial or full with exceeded parameter) is on auxiliary DU. Make sure EICAS compacted-full (with exceeded parameter) is on main DU and respective synoptic is on auxiliary DU.

(d) Select EICAS maintenance page thru CDU while EICAS secondary format (partial or full with exceeded parameter) is on auxiliary DU. Make sure EICAS compacted-full (with exceeded parameter) is on main DU and respective maintenance page is on auxiliary DU.

(6) Obtain Airplane System Information - Degraded EICAS Configuration (Fig. 204)
(a)
Upon application of electrical power make sure EICAS primary format is on main DU (secondary exceedances do not exist) and auxiliary DU is blank.
(b)
Press ENG key on EICAS DSP. Make sure EICAS compacted-full format is on main DU and auxiliary DU is blank.
(c)
Press FUEL key on EICAS DSP. Make sure EICAS compacted with mini fuel quantity format is on main DU and auxiliary DU is blank.
(d)
Press GEAR key on EICAS DSP. Make sure EICAS compacted with mini brake temperature format is on main DU and auxiliary DU is blank.
(e)
The occurrence of secondary engine parameter exceedance causes EICAS primary format or EICAS compacted with mini fuel quantity or brake temperature format to be replaced by EICAS compacted-partial format. The compacted-partial format displays the exceeded secondary parameter.
NOTE: Upon occurrence of secondary exceedance, make sure EICAS

(f) Press ENG key on EICAS DSP while EICAS compacted-partial, compacted with mini fuel quantity, or compacted with mini brake temperature is on main DU. Make sure EICAS compacted-full is on main DU and auxiliary DU is blank.
