(b) If the IDS software part numbers between any operational IDS LRUs (DUs or EIUs) are not the same, the part number readout is replaced by a magenta colored ERROR message.

Program Pins
(a) The latched state of the program pins for the source selected EIU are displayed by white colored hexadecimal readouts, including parity.
(4)
Engine Configuration
(a) Engine type and model information for EICAS, FMC and EPCS is displayed by white colored digital readouts. The readout for EICAS reflects the engine nomenclature per the present program pin configuration. The data for the FMC and EPCS engine configuration readouts is received by the EIU from the respective systems. This data is transmitted in BCD (binary coded decimal) format and is decoded to display the engine model, engine type, and engine bump number.

Crew Oxygen Pressure Limit
(a) Displays the crew oxygen pressure level at which an alert condition will occur. Pressure is displayed by a digital readout in units of psi. This parameter is received by the EIU as a direct analog variable input.
K. EICAS Engine Exceedance Maintenance Display (Fig. 58)
(1) General
(a)
The engine exceedance maintenance page displays engine exceedance maxima and time duration of exceedance for data stored in the engine exceedance non-volatile memory (NVM).
(b)
The parameters provided for display are N1 redline limit exceedance, EGT redline limit exceedance, EGT start limit exceedance, N2 redline limit exceedance and the exceedance EGT profiles.
(c)
An exceedance whose time duration is less than 0.5 seconds is disregarded and treated as a non-exceedance. If no recorded exceedance data exists in the NVM, the engine exceedance readouts will be blank.
(d)
Rotor speeds are displayed in units of percent rpm, temperatures in units of °C (Celsius) and time in units of minutes, seconds and tenths of seconds.

N1 Redline Limit Exceedance (N1 RED)
(a)
N1 RED exceedance information is displayed for engines 1 thru 4 by white colored digital readouts. The display consists of two exceedance and time duration values (upper and lower) for each engine.
(b)
The lower readout displays the highest N1 which occurred during the most recent N1 RED exceedance, and the time duration of that exceedance.
(c)
The upper readout displays the highest N1 of all previous N1 RED exceedances (excluding the most recent), and the time duration of that exceedance.
