(d) Open these circuit breakers:
1) P6 main power distribution panel a) 6B27, ALT PWR RELAYS CAPT XFR b) 6B28, ALT PWR RELAYS F/O XFR
2) Make sure the captain's outboard and inboard IDUs go out of view. 3) Make sure the first officer's outboard IDU shows the PFD format. 4) Make sure the first officer's inboard IDU shows the ND format.
(e)
Set the ALT EFIS switch to the CAPT position. 1) Make sure the captain's outboard IDU shows the PFD format. 2) Make sure the captain's inboard IDU shows the ND format. 3) Make sure the first officer's outboard and inboard IDUs go
out of view.
(f)
Set the ALT EFIS switch to the F/O position. 1) Make sure the first officer's outboard IDU shows the PFD format. 2) Make sure the first officer's inboard IDU shows the ND format.
3) Make sure the captain's outboard and inboard IDUs go out of view.
(g)
Close these circuit breakers:
1) P6 main power distribution panel a) 6B27, ALT PWR RELAYS CAPT XFR b) 6B28, ALT PWR RELAYS F/O XFR
2) Make sure the captain's and the first officer's outboard IDU shows the PFD format. 3) Make sure the captain's and the first officer's inboard IDU shows the ND format.

(1) Do a test of the ND mode select switch:
(a) Set the mode select switch to the APP position. 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded approach format.
NOTE: If the ND does not show the expanded approach

(b)
Set the mode select switch to the VOR position. 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded VOR format.
(c)
Set the mode select switch to the MAP position. 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded MAP format.
(d)
Set the mode select switch to the PLN position. 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded plan format.

Set the range select switch to 20. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 10 on the center of the display.

Set the range select switch to 40. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 20 on the center of the display.

Set the range select switch to 80. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 40 on the center of the display.
(f)
Set the range select switch to 160. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 80 on the center of the display.
