Degraded configuration
1) One EICAS capable DU available.
(3)
Airplane system information is obtained by viewing the various EICAS display formats. The different formats are selected using the EICAS Display Select Panel (DSP) or the Control Display Unit (CDU) (Fig. 201).
(4)
EICAS presents the system information on the main and/or auxiliary DUs. Full time EICAS data is displayed on the main DU. Supplemental data (displayed as required) is displayed on the auxiliary DU.
(a)
Primary engine parameters are continuously presented on the main DU. These parameters are EPR actual, EPR reference/target, EPR Maximum, EGT, N1, thrust mode and TAT. Crew alerting warning, caution, advisory and memo messages are presented on the main DU.
(b)
The secondary engine format, synoptic formats, maintenance pages or the status format can be presented individually on the auxiliary DU. 1) The secondary engine format consists of N2, fuel flow, oil
pressure, oil temperature, oil quantity and engine vibration.
2) Synoptic formats provide a pictorial view of system configurations and operating parameters for various airplane systems. The following synoptic formats may be selected:
-Electrical
-Fuel
-ECS
-Hydraulic
-Doors
-Gear.

-ECS
-Electrical
-Flight Controls
-Fuel
-Hydraulic
-Configuration
-Gear
-APU
-EPCS
-Performance
-Engine Exceedance.
The maintenance pages display snapshots which were previously recorded (manually or automatically). Real time data can also be displayed. The snapshots are stored in the memory of the EIU.
NOTE: A maintenance page may not be shown on the auxiliary
____ EICAS when the maintenance page is selected. The auxiliary EICAS can be shown on up to three IDUs, the lower IDU, and the captain's or first officer's inboard IDUs. When a maintenance page is selected, it is possible that the page will not be shown on all of the auxiliary EICAS displays. If this occurs do these steps:
-
Push the STAT button on the EICAS display select panel
-
Push the ENG button on the EICAS display select panel
-Reselect the EICAS maintenance page that you need.
4) The status format provides information related to airplane dispatch. EICAS status messages are displayed on this format.
