TURBINE FRAME - CLEANING/PAINTING

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure gives the instructions to clean the oil supply tube for the aft sump where it goes through the No. 6 turbine frame strut.
 B.  Use this procedure when you see signs of coking in this oil supply tube.
 C.  Refer to the procedure in AMM 72-56-00/801 for the replacement of this oil supply tube.

Do this task: Remove the Primary Exhaust Sleeve (AMM 78-11-01/401).

 (2)  
Do this task: Remove the Primary Exhaust Plug (AMM 78-11-02/401).

Remove the clamp, shield, bolt and nut that covers the tube union for the aft sump oil supply tube at the 6:30 o'clock position on the turbine rear frame (Fig. 701).

 (a)  Disconnect the the union nut.
