Remove the screws that attach the adapter to the AGB housing.

Remove the O-ring from the adapter.

S 432-029-C00
(1) Do these steps to install the adapter on the AGB housing (Fig. 204):
(a)
Apply a light layer of engine oil on the new O-ring.
(b)
Install the new O-ring on the adapter.
(c)
Install the adapter on the AGB housing, use the alignment pins on the housing as locators.
(d)
Apply a light layer of graphite grease (CP 2101) on the threads of the screws.
(e)
Attach the adapter to the AGB housing with the screws.
1) Tighten the screws to 252-279 pound-inches (28.5-31.5 Newton meters).

(2) Install the QAD clamp on the adapter.
(a) Align the clamp and the adapter with the alignment marks.

(3) Do these steps to install the support on the AGB housing:
(a)
Apply a light layer of graphite grease on the threads of the bolts.
(b)
Attach the support on the AGB housing with the bolts.
1) Tighten the bolts to 252-279 pound-inches (28.5-31.5 Newton meters).
(c)
Install the lockwire.

(4) Do these steps to attach the QAD clamp to the adapter.
(a) Put the ball seat washer on the bolt.
NOTE: The concave side of the washer must point outward.

(b)
Install the bolt in the support.
(c)
Put the retainer packing on the bolt.
(d)
Apply a light layer of graphite grease on the threads of the bolt.
