2) Tighten the nut until the rotating ring is held tight by
the claws.
3) Tighten the screw.
4) Use the slide hammer to remove the rotating ring.
5) Remove and discard the O-ring.
6) Loosen the nut and the screw.
7) Remove the rotating ring from the tool.

WARNING:_______ DO NOT GET THE SOLVENT IN YOUR MOUTH OR EYES, OR ON YOUR SKIN.
DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE SOLVENT. PUT ON A PROTECTIVE
SPLASH GOGGLE AND GLOVES WHEN YOU USE THE SOLVENT. KEEP THE
SOLVENT AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME, AND HEAT. THE SOLVENT IS
POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE. IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Clean the gear area, that will touch the rotating ring, with the solvent:
(a) Remove all of the oil solids that stay on the gear area.
NOTE: This will prevent possible damage to the O-ring when you
____ install it.

(2) Examine the O-rings for the seal housing (OD), static seal case (OD), and rotating ring (ID):
(a) If there are cuts, nicks, or other damage, replace the O-rings.

CAUTION: USE CLEAN, LINT-FREE GLOVES WHEN YOU TOUCH THE MAGNETIC SEALS.
_______ THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION.
CAUTION:_______MAGNETIC SEALS ARE ALIGNED ASSEMBLIES. IF YOU CAUSE DAMAGE TO A COMPONENT OF THE SEAL, YOU MUST REPLACE ALL OF THE SEAL.
(3) Install the magnetic seal:
