Use the bolts to attach the flange assembly to the turbine
frame.
1) Tighten the bolts to 85-95 pound-inches
(9.5-10.5 Newton meters).

(22) Do these steps to install the flame arrestor:
(a)
Lightly lubricate the threads of the bolts with grease, GP460, Aeroshell 8.
(b)
Use the bolts to attach the flame arrestor to the oil inlet
cover.
1) Tighten the bolts to 110-115 pound-inches
(11-13 Newton meters).

(23) Do these steps to attach the oil supply tube to the oil supply tube of the aft sump (Fig. 701):
(a)
Lubricate the threads of the oil supply tube for the aft sump with oil, CFMI SB 79-001.
(b)
Loosely connect the oil supply tube with the oil supply tube
for the aft sump.

(24) Do these steps to attach the shield end clamp (Fig. 701):
(a) Install the shield end clamp between the union nut and the
turbine frame.
