(g) Attach the adapter to the AGB with the locking bolts.
CAUTION: THE LOCKING NUT OF THE HORIZONTAL DRIVE SHAFT HAS LEFT
_______ HANDED THREADS. DO NOT APPLY A COUNTERCLOCKWISE TORQUE TO THE NUTS AS DAMAGE TO THE DRIVE SHAFT CAN OCCUR.
(h)
Use a 856A3604 wrench to loosen the locking nut of the horizontal drive shaft.
(i)
Move the horizontal drive shaft rearward and disengage the shaft from the AGB.
(j)
Remove the AGB locking adapter.
(k)
Install the cover of the N2 pad drive.
1) Use the five bolts and washers.
2) Tighten the bolts with your fingers.
NOTE: Do not apply a torque to the bolts.
____ ú ú NOTE:____If no more than one insert is damaged and it is ú preventing the installation of one bolt to secure ú the cover, do these steps: ú 1. Continued service is permitted until the next ú engine shop visit. ú 2. Use a temporary marking to identify the bolt ú that was intentionally uninstalled. ú

(19) Do these steps to remove the TGB from the fan frame.
(a)
At two locations, remove the nut, two washers, and bolt which attach the bottom section of the TGB to the fan frame.
(b)
At two locations, loosen the nut which attaches the top section of the TGB to the fan frame.
(c)
Lift the TGB with a force equal to its weight and do these steps: 1) At two locations, remove the nut, two washers, and bolt
