KEEP ACETONE AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME AND HEAT. ACETONE IS A POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE SOLVENT WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Use acetone (CP1039) to clean the leading edge concave and convex sides of the composite OGV.

Cut a piece of speed tape (CP2515) 13 inches long (333 mm) and 2 inches (50 mm) wide.

 (a)  
Symmetrically apply the speed tape over the OGV leading edge. Make sure it bonds correctly to the leading edge concave and convex surfaces, without wrinkling (Fig. 807).

 (b)  
Put hand pressure on the tape to complete the bonding.

 8.  Consolidated/Fly Home Repair for an Inner RDS Housing Leak__________________________________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  This procedure is used for those engines which are in the serviceable limits of AMM 72-62-02/601. This repair provides a 10 hour overlimit extension to permit the airplane to fly to a suitable facility for repair of the fan frame strut No. 10.
