(20) Put a light layer of engine oil on the threads of the nipple installed on the oil inlet cover (Fig. 802).
(a)
Install the oil supply tube for the aft sump on the nipple.
(b)
Make sure the outer end of the tube is parallel to the aft flange on the turbine frame.
(c)
Tighten the union nut with your hand.
NOTE: Do not apply a torque.

(21) Put a light layer of engine oil on the threads of the nipple to the oil supply tube of the aft sump (Fig. 802).
(a)
Install the union nut of the new tube.
(b)
Tighten the union nut with your hand.
NOTE: Do not apply a torque.

(22) Install the other end of the new tube with the oil supply tube to the aft sump.
(a)
Put a light layer of engine oil on the thread of the nipple to the oil supply tube to the aft sump.
(b)
Attach the union nut of the new tube.
(c)
Tighten the union nut with your hand.
NOTE: Do not apply a torque.

CAUTION:_______ USE TWO WRENCHES WHEN YOU INSTALL THE TUBE. USE ONE WRENCH TO
HOLD THE NIPPLE, AND THE OTHER TO TIGHTEN THE NUT. DAMAGE TO
THE TUBE CAN OCCUR IF YOU DO NOT USE TWO WRENCHES.
(23) Make sure you do not use force on the connection of the new oil supply tube and the oil supply tube to the aft sump.
(a)
Tighten the three union nuts to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 Newton meters).
(b)
Install the lockwire on the nut.

(24) Install the shield (Fig. 801).
(a) Attach the shield with a clamp between the union nut and the turbine frame.

(25) Put a light layer of grease (CP2101) on the threads of the bolt (Fig. 801).
(a)
Attach the clamp and the shield with the nut.
(b)
Tighten the nut to 50-55 pound-inches (5.5-6.5 Newton meters).

(26) Install the flange assembly on the turbine frame with the bolts (Fig. 802).
(a)
Put a light layer of grease (CP2101) on the threads of the bolts.
(b)
Tighten the bolts to 85-95 pound-inches (9.5-10.5 Newton meters).

(27) Install the flame arrestor on the flange assembly with the bolts (Fig. 802).
(a)
Put a light layer of grease (CP2101) on the threads of the bolts.
(b)
Tighten the bolts to 100-115 pound-inches (11-13 Newton meters).

(28) Install the primary exhaust sleeve (AMM 78-11-01/401) and the exhaust plug (AMM 78-11-02/401).
