You must compare them as soon as possible in the maximum service extension permitted (4° or more of bend or twist to the vane) to schedule for an engine replacement, if it is necessary.
 1)  Bends or twists that cause less than 4° of vane off-scheduling, replace the lever arm (AMM 72-35-00/801).
 2)  Bends or twists that cause 4° or more of vane off-scheduling, replace the engine (AMM 71-00-02/401): a) A maximum service extension of 10 cycles or 25 hours is
 permitted if you replace the lever arm (AMM 72-35-00/801).
 (c)  Stator vanes that are loose:
 1)  There is no maximum limit of radial and side motion if the bushing is there and there is no metal-to-metal contact. a) Replace the bushing if it is gone (AMM 72-35-00/801).

b)  If the metal touched metal, replace the engine (AMM 71-00-02/401).
 NOTE:____Shake the vane stem. Listen for metal that touches metal.
 2)  A maximum service extension of 10 cycles or 25 hours is permitted before you replace the engine. a) If the metal did not touch the metal on more than 50%
 of the vanes and the bushings are replaced on all the vanes that did touch the metal (AMM 72-35-00/801).
 (d)  Nicks, dents and scratches in the lever arms:
 1) Area A is not serviceable.
 a) Replace the lever arm (AMM 72-35-00/801).

 2)  Area B with more than 0.010 inch (0.25 mm) in depth after the removal of all burrs if the bottom of the defect does not have a sharp-point. a) Replace the lever arm (AMM 72-35-00/801).
 3)  Area C (does not include the pin) with more than 0.002 inch
 (0.05 mm) in depth.
 a) Replace the lever arm (AMM 72-35-00/801).

 (6)  Examine the 1st- and 2nd-stage stator vanes for damage:
 (a)  
Cracked or broken lever arms are not serviceable.
 1) Replace the engine (AMM 71-00-02/401).

 (b)  
Bent or twisted lever arms:
