 (1)  Open this circuit breaker and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
 (a)  P6-2 Load Control Center
 1) ENGINE START VALVE

Remove the spinner front and rear cones (AMM 72-31-01/401).

 (3)  
Remove all fan blades (AMM 72-31-02/401).

 (4)  
Remove the splitter fairing (AMM 72-33-04/401).

Remove the 24 bolts and nuts that attach the vane assembly of the 1st-stage to the vane assembly of the 2nd-stage.

_______ ON YOUR SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM MEK. PUT ON A PROTECTIVE SPLASH GOGGLE AND GLOVES WHEN YOU USE MEK. KEEP MEK AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME, AND HEAT. MEK IS A POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE SOLVENT WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  Clean the mating faces of the lst-stage and 2nd-stage vanes assemblies with solvent.
