If it is necessary, install the seal on the inner shroud.

Install the OGV.
NOTE:____Look at the part number of the OGV. This will tell you if the OGV is aluminum or composite.
(a)
Engage the OGV inner platform into the aft fairing recess.
(b)
Push the OGV outer platform forward and lift the OGV against the interior surface of fan inlet case.

Lightly lubricate the threads of the bolts with grease, GP460 Aero shell 8.

COMPOSITE OGV'S (ENGINES WITH CFMI SB 72-713); Install the bolts and washers that attach the OGV to the fan inlet case.
(a) Tighten the bolts to 170-185 pound-inches (19-21 Newton meters).

(5) ALUMINUM OGV'S (ENGINES WITH AND WITHOUT CFMI SB 72-796); Install the bolts and saddles that attach the OGV to the fan inlet case.

A. This procedure gives the tasks to remove and install the acoustical panels. The acoustical panels are installed in the fan case, fan frame and fan case extension ring.
