(f)  Fasteners that are loose or gone - Five total fasteners not in a sequence.
 F.  Make an Inspection of the Other Areas of the Outer Casing Skin
 S 216-005-C00
 (1)  Examine the other areas of the outer casing skin for these:
 (a)  
Cracks in the parent metal on the welds:

 1)  All numbers not more than 0.2 inch (5.0 mm) in length with a minimum distance of 2.0 inches (50.0 mm) between all other cracks.

 (b)  
Nicks, scores and scratches in the outer skin:


 1)  All numbers not more than 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) in length, not more than 0.020 inch (6.50 mm) in depth after the removal of all burrs, with a minimum distance of 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) between them.
 G.  Make an Inspection of the Threaded Ports and Bosses
 S 216-006-C00
 (1)  Examine the threaded ports and bosses for these:
 (a)  
Ports and bosses with damaged threads:

 1)  Not more than one total thread length from one of these two, cumulative or continuous, can be gone after you chase the threads.

 (b)  
Cracks - One for each port or boss not more than 0.2 inch


 (5.0 mm) in length.
 H.  Make an Inspection of the Guide Bushing to the Oil Supply Tube
 S 216-024-C00
 (1)  Examine the guide bushing to the oil supply tube for these:
 (a)  Worn areas on the guide bushing: 1) All numbers not more than 0.055 inch (1.40 mm) is permitted.
 2)  Oil supply tube is not flush by more than 0.055 inch (1.40 mm) with the LPT frame bore - Not serviceable. a) A maximum service extension of 600 cycles or 750 hours
 is permitted.
 3)  The oil supply tube is flush with the LPT frame bore - Not serviceable. a) A maximum service extension of 25 cycles or 50 hours is
 permitted.

I.  Make an Inspection of the Midstream Fairing
 S 216-007-C00
 (1)  Examine the midstream fairing for these:
 (a)  Cracks in the midstream fairing:
 1)  All numbers not more than 4.0 inches (100.0 mm) in length is permitted after you stop drill the end of the crack with a 0.127-0.128 inch (3.23-3.25 mm) dia. drill (No. 30).
 2)  All numbers and all lengths is permitted given the cracks are stop drilled and the fairing is repaired by Ref 72-56-00/801 in 30 cycles or 30 hours.
 3)  Cracks that are between 2 sectors of the fairing - Not serviceable. 4) A maximum service extention of 30 cycles or 30 hours is permitted for all numbers and lengths of cracks.
 (b)  Material that is gone - Not serviceable. 1) A maximum service extension of 10 cycles or 10 hours is permitted.
 2)  Before 10 cycles or 10 hours is completed, you must not repair more than 2.0 square inches by Ref 72-56-00/801.
 J.  Make an Inspection of the Rear Cover
 S 216-008-C00
 (1)  Examine the rear cover for these:
 (a)  Cracks in the rear cover: 1) All numbers of cracks not more than 2.0 inches (50.0 mm) in length is permitted.
 2)  A maximum service extention of 10 cycles or 25 hours is permitted for all numbers of cracks more than 2.0 inches
 (50.0 mm) in length.
 (b)  Material that is gone - Not serviceable.
 1)  The maximum service extention of 30 cycles or 30 hours is permitted for material that is gone and less than
 1.00 square inches (6.45 sq. cm).
 K.  Examine the Aft Flange Studs.
 S 216-025-C00
 (1)  Examine the aft flange studs for these problems:
 (a)  Missing or broken studs: 1) Missing or broken studs are not acceptable.
