e) A 50 cycle maximum service extension is permitted if the damaged dampers are not in the specified limits.
(c) Damper Retainer (Axial Stops) 1) Cracks are not serviceable. 2) There is no limit on the quantity of wear or fretting if
there are no cracks and you remove the high metal.

(8) ENGINES WITH A REBROACHED FAN DISK; (ENGINES POST-CFMI-SB 72-621 AND POST-CFMI-SB 72-820); Examine the shims for the conditions that follow:
NOTE: Rebroached fan disks are identified by a white line of
____ paint that circles the fan disk, along with the words SHIMS REQUIRED in white letters on one side of the disk. On the opposite side of the disk are the words DISK REPAIRED, also in white letters. (Reference CFMI Service Bulletins 72-621 and 72-820 for more information.)

Cracks, tears or punctures that are not serviceable
(b)
Any amount of scratches if it is not more than 0.003 inch
(0.08 mm) in depth.
(c)
Any amount of nicks, dents if it is not more than 0.003 inch
(0.08 mm) in depth and cumuled surface affected less than 10% of each contact pressure face.
