A visual inspection of the Elevator Feel and Centering Unit.
B.
The electrical pump 1 pressurizes the hydraulic system B and the electrical pump 2 pressurizes the hydraulic system A. When you operate the pumps to pressurize the hydraulic systems, you must obey these steps:
(1)
Make sure there are more than 250 gallons (1675 pounds/760 kilograms) of fuel in fuel tank 1 or 2. When the fuel temperature is more than 90°F (32.2°C), monitor the system B overheat indicator and turn the pumps off when the hydraulic fluid becomes too hot.
C.
This procedure contains pressurization of hydraulic systems A and B by the operation of the electrical pumps.

(6)
Install the flight control lock assemblies (which is referred to as the "lock assembly") (Fig. 202):
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connector D818 from the flight controls system A shutoff valve (which is referred to as the "shutoff valve A").
(b)
Disconnect the electrical connector D820 from the flight controls system B shutoff valve (which is referred to as the "shutoff valve B").
(c)
Make sure that the manual override lever at the shutoff valves A and B is in position 2 (OFF position).
(d)
Install a lock assembly on each shutoff valve. 1) Install the lockpins.
