(2) S 216-002Examine the parts for worn areas: (a) Use a micrometer or a vernier caliper to measure the parts for the worn areas. (b) Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601. (c) Replace the parts that are not in the tolerance. (d) Install the parts.
