 (a)  
Put the stab trim in an airplane nose up positon.

 (b)  
Put the STAB TRIM MAIN ELEC and AUTOPILOT Cutout switches on the control stand to CUTOUT position.

 (c)  
Put a INOP-DO NOT MOVE Tag on the stab trim control wheels.

 (d)  
Put the manual control lever to the HIGH position as follows (Fig./201). 1) Remove the manual control lever retaining bolt. 2) Turn the manual control lever to the HIGH position. 3) Install the manual control lever retaining bolt, including

 nut lockwire that was removed.

 (e)  
Remove the INOP-DO NOT MOVE Tag and put the cutout and stab trim switches back to there original position.

Procedure


 S 012-016
 (1)  
Get access to the tail compartment through access door 3701.

 S 442-018

 (2)  
Do these steps to activate the pressure reducer.

 (a)  
Put the stab trim in an nose up position.

 (b)  
Put the STAB TRIM MAIN ELEC and AUTO PILOT Cutout Switches on the control stand to the CUTOUT position.

 (c)  
Put a INOP-DO NOT MOVE Tag on the stab trim control wheels.

 (d)  
Re-positon the manual control lever to the NORMAL position as follows. 1) Remove the manual control lever retaining bolt. 2) Turn the manual control lever to the NORMAL position


 (Fig./201). 3) Install the manual control lever retaining bolt, including nut lockwire that was removed. 4) Remove the INOP-DO NOT MOVE Tag and put the cutout and stab trim switches back to there original position.
