 Adjust the input rod of the neutral shift:
 1) Disconnect the ouput rod of the feel and centering unit

 from the aft control quadrant crank. 2) Loosen the checknuts on the input rods.

 3)  Remove the bolts that connect the input rods to the neutral
 shift crank. 4) Adjust the input rods to get of 1.25 |0.03 inch. 5) Tighten the rod end checknuts on the two rods. 6) Install a lockwire on each checknut.
 (e)  
Attach the input rods to the neutral shift crank.

 (f)  
If it is necessary, adjust the neutral shift sensor (AMM 22-11-14/501).

 (g)  
If it is necessary, adjust the stabilizer position sensor (AMM 22-11-31/501).

 (h)  
Adjust the output rod of the feel and centering unit. 1) Install the rig pin E-5 in the aft quadrant. 2) Do a check of the alignment of the bolt hole in the output


 rod and the bolt hole in the aft quadrant crank.
 a)  If the alignment difference is more than 0.06 inch, Turn the clevis to get the alignment difference less than 0.06 inch.
 b)  If the alignment difference is less than 0.06 inch, Turn the sleeve until you can install the bolt easily.
 NOTE: Always turn the clevis and the sleeve in the
____ same direction and make sure the number of threads you see are equal in the two parts.
 CAUTION: DO NOT TRY TO TIGHTEN THE OUTER BOLT AGAIN AFTER YOU
_______ TIGHTEN THE LOCKNUT. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT
 3) Install the bolt assembly. a) Tighten the outer bolt to 75-85 pound-inches. 4) Install the locknut on the end of the inner bolt. a) Tighten the locknut to 15-20 pound-inches. 5) Make sure you see a maximum of 27 threads on the clevis and
 the sleeve. 6) Remove the rig pin E-5. 7) If it is necessary, adjust the neutral shift sensor (AMM
 22-11-14/501). 8) If it is necessary, adjust the stabilizer position sensor (AMM 22-11-31/501).

AND NOSE DOWN INSTALLATION" (AMM 27-31-31/401).
