GET THE BUSHING. BORE THE HOLE TO GET 0.0002 TO 0.0013-INCH INTERFERENCE FIT (0.3754 INCH MAXIMUM). REAM THE BUSHING TO 0.2495/0.2505 INCH DIAMETER
INSTALL THE NEW 65-51237-4 BUSHING TO A MAXIMUM DIAMETER OVERSIZE OF 0.4000 INCH. THE MATERIAL WIDTH REMAINING BETWEEN THE EDGE OF THE HOLE AND THE OUTER EDGE OF THE ARM MUST NOT BE LESS THAN 0.14 INCH

Do this task: "Elevator Feel Computer Removal" (Ref 27-31-37/401).

Examine the parts for worn areas:
(a)
Use a micrometer or a vernier caliper to measure the parts for the worn areas.
(b)
Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
(c)
Replace the parts that are not in the tolerance.
(d)
Install the parts.

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks, one for the removal and one for the installation of the elevator balance panel. The procedure has these parts:

The removal of the elevator balance panel
(2)
The installation of the replacement panel.

(1) Rig Pin E-5 - 0.309/0.311-inch diameter, 6.7 |0.25 inches long (MS20392-4)
NOTE: The rig pin is part of the rig pin kit F70207-69, -78 or -83.
