(2) Operate the control column with the systems A and B hydraulic power:
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL
_______ CONTROL SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a)
Do this task: "Pressurize the Elevator Hydraulic Systems A and B" (AMM 27-31-00/201).
(b)
Set the flight control switches A and B to ON.
(c)
Move the control column full aft.
1) Make sure that elevator moves full up and the system operates smoothly.
(d)
Move the control column full forward.
1) Make sure that elevator moves full down and the system operates smoothly.

Operate the control column with the system B hydraulic power:
(a)
Set the FLT CONTROL A switch to OFF.
(b)
Move the control column full aft.
1) Make sure that elevator moves full up and the system operates smoothly.
(c)
Move the control column full forward.
1) Make sure that elevator moves full down and the system operates smoothly.

(4)
Operate the control column with the system A hydraulic power:
(a)
Set the FLT CONTROL A switch to ON and the FLT CONTROL B switch to OFF.
(b)
Move the control column full aft.
1) Make sure that elevator moves full up and the system operates smoothly.
(c)
Move the control column full forward.
1) Make sure that elevator moves full down and the system operates smoothly.

(1) Remove the pressure from the elevator hydraulic systems A and B (AMM 27-31-00/201).

CAUTION:_______SLOWLY MOVE THE CONTROL COLUMN FULL FORWARD. IF YOU MOVE THE CONTROL COLUMN FULL FORWARD TOO FAST OR TOO HARD, THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELEVATOR FEEL AND CENTERING UNIT.
(2)
Make sure that the control columns, the control wheels, and the elevators move freely:
(a)
Move the control column full forward and aft 5 times between the stops. 1) At the same time turn the control wheel left and right 5
times between the stops.
(b)
Hold the control wheel to the left side against the stop.
1) Move the control column full forward and aft between the stops.
(c)
Hold the control wheel to the right side against the stop.
