Pull the adjustment shaft and the support bracket forward to disengage the adjustment shaft.

Remove the bolts that hold the jackshaft support channel to the structure, and remove the channel.
NOTE:____Hold the weight of the quadrant during this step. The quadrant is free to fall from the top housing after you disconnect the bolts.

(12) If it is necessary, disconnect the four bolts that hold the bearing housing to the jackshaft support channel, and replace the lower bearing.
