A. This procedure has two tasks, one for the removal and one for the installation of the hydraulic fuse for the rudder.

Remove the rudder hydraulic power system B (Ref 27-21-00/201).

Release the pressure from the system B hydraulic reservoir (Ref 29-09-00/201).

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6-2 panel
1) STABILIZER TRIM ACTUATOR
2) STABILIZER TRIM CONT

Get access to the tail compartment through access door 3701.

Close the No. 5 manual shutoff valve (hydraulic system B) (Fig. 401).

Do these steps to remove the hydraulic fuse (Fig. 401):
(a)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the fuse.
(b)
Remove the hydraulic fuse.
