ELEVATOR FORWARD CONTROL QUADRANT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks, one for the removal and one for the installation of the elevator forward control quadrant (which is referred to as the forward quadrant). The procedure has these parts:
(1)
The removal of the forward quadrant
(2)
The installation of the forward quadrant
(3)
An adjustment of the forward quadrant.
B.
There is a forward quadrant on the right and left side. The procedure is the same for each forward quadrant.

A. Special Tools and Equipment
(1) Rig Pins (E-1 and E-5) - 0.309/0.311 inch diameter, 6.7 |0.25 inches long (MS20392-4)
NOTE: The rig pins are part of the kit F70207-69, -78 or -83.
