1. General_______
A. There is one task in this procedure, an inspection of the rudder power control unit (PCU). To do the inspection you measure the diameters of the parts that attach the PCU to the structure.

Remove the rudder power control unit (Ref 27-21-91/401).

Examine the parts that attach the PCU (Fig. 601):
(a)
Remove the parts.
(b)
Use a micrometer or a vernier caliper to measure the parts.
(c)
Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
(d)
Repair or replace the parts that are not in the tolerance.
(e)
Install the parts.
(3)
Install the rudder power control unit (Ref 27-21-91/401).
