 (t) (u) (v)  2) Engage the A/P CHAN A. 3) Make sure the elevator does not movePush the LSK that is adjacent to <CONTINUE (51.08). 1) Make sure that elevator does not move and the A/P CHAN B disengages.Push the LSK that is adjacent to <CONTINUE (51.09). 1) Make sure that elevator does not move and the A/P CHAN A disengages.Push the LSK that is adjacent to <CONTINUE (51.10). 1) Make sure this message SET STABILIZER B DIMEN TO 31.95 (+/-0.10) IN (9.7 UNITS) is on the CDU. 2) Do the steps shown on the CDU. 3) Make a mark of the trailing edge of the right elevator on the side of the tail cone.
 4) Make sure the stabilizer trim position sensor voltage is between 3.72 and 4.52v ac.
 (w)  Push the LSK that is adjacent to <CONTINUE (51.11). 1) Engage the A/P CHAN A. 2) Engage the A/P CHAN B. 3) Make sure the message ELEV LVDT (VAC) is on the CDU. 4) Make sure the elevator LVDT voltage is 0 +/- 0.06v ac. 5) Make sure the elevator moves 0.20 |0.25 inch up from the mark on the tail cone.
 (x) (y) (z)  Push the LSK that is adjacent to <CONTINUE (51.12). 1) Make sure the message ELEV POS (VAC) is on the CDU. 2) Make sure the elevator position for null is 0 |0.10v ac.Push the LSK that is adjacent to CONTINUE (51.13). 1) Make sure the message NSS POS (VAC) is on the CDU. 2) Make sure the neutral shift sensor position for null at the stabilizer position at 9.7 units is 0 |0.25v ac.Push the LSK that is adjacent to <INDEX (51.14). 1) Make sure that the CDU shows ELEV RIG INDEX (51.00) or go out of BITE.

 18. Elevator Power Off Flight Test

 A. General
_______
 NOTE: Make sure you satisfy the flight test requirement before a revenue
____ service of the airplane. However, if it is not possible to perform a flight test before revenue service , you can operate the airplane in revenue service for a maximum of 30 days before you successfully complete the flight test, if the speed is limited to 320 knots (0.75 MACH) and the airspeed indicators are placarded: DO NOT EXCEED 320 KNOTS (0.75 MACH). A second flight test is necessary if the pitch up or pitch down trim is more than the limit during the first flight test.
 (1) This flight test is necessary after you have completed one of these ú maintenance tasks:
 NOTE: A replacement is a new or a different part that was used to
____
 replace a part.

 (a)  
After replacement of an elevator or an elevator tab (or tabs).

 (b)  
After a replacement or an adjustment of an elevator tab pushrod unless its companion tab pushrod is not removed or adjusted, and the replacement tab pushrod is adjusted correctly.

 (c)  
After a replacement of the hinge fitting plate (Fig. 512).

 (d)  
After a replacement of an elevator bearing plate. (Fig. 512)


 NOTE: Replacement of elevator hinge bearings does not cause
____ need for a flight test, when you install the original bearing plates in their original location. It is not necessary to do a flight test after maintenance on the number 6 (most outboard) hinge bearing and/or plate.
