5) Do these steps again to measure the ski jump values for the left elevator.
NOTE: You must align the left elevator with the index
____ mark. It is not necessary to adjust the dial indicator of the ski jump tool assembly again.
6) Calculate the average ski jump as follows:
NOTE: The values for the left and right elevator ski jump
____ averages are calculated at the bottom of Table 501.

(i) While you move the elevator trailing edge down, align the right elevator trailing edge with the index mark within |0.04 inch or less.
NOTE: Keep the elevators at this position while you do the
____ step to measure the elevator tab position. If the elevator position is changed, you must put the elevator trailing edge at the full up position and do this step again before you continue.
(j) Use one of the two methods that follow to adjust the right hand elevator tab pushrods.
NOTE: The recommended method to use is the four point method
