Put the rudder pedals and the rudder trim switch in the neutral position.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) TRIM CONT - RUD
2) RUD TRIM IND

(3) Remove hydraulic power from all three hydraulic systems (Ref 27-21-00/201).

Remove the Rudder Trim Actuator (Fig. 401)

Disconnect the electrical connector from the rudder trim actuator.

Remove the bolt assembly that attaches the rudder trim actuator to the airplane.

Remove the bolt assembly that attaches the rudder trim actuator to the feel and centering unit.

(4)
Remove the rudder trim actuator.
