Measure the parts for worn areas:
(a)
Remove the parts.
(b)
Use a micrometer or a vernier caliper to measure the parts.

Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task is the removal of the rudder pedal assembly. The second task is the installation of the rudder pedal assembly.
B. The rudder pedal assemblies for the captain and the first officer are almost the same, but they are not interchangeable.
