Open the access panels (573AB, 573BB and 579AB, left wing; 673AB, 673BB and 679AB, right wing) in the lower surface of the wing (Ref 06-09-08/201).
(2)
Install the inboard aileron lock.

Remove the horizontal reaction link (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the small nut from the forward bolt.
(b)
Remove the large nut from the forward bolt.
(c)
Remove the forward bolt through the hole in the wing rib.

Remove the nut from the aft bolt with a spanner wrench.
1) Use the antirotation plate to hold the bolt when you remove the nut.
(e)
Remove the antirotation plate from the aft bolt.
(f)
Remove the aft bolt.
(g)
Remove the middle bolt from the horizontal reaction link.
(h)
Remove the horizontal reaction link.
