Connect the input control rod (6) to the input crank (29) with the bolt (7), washer (8) and nut (9). 1) Tighten the nut (9).

Connect the control rod (15) to the output crank (28) with the bolt (10), washers (11 and 13) and nuts (12 and 14). 1) Tighten the large nut (12) to 60-80 pound-inches. 2) Tighten the small nut (14) to 30-40 pound inches.
NOTE: Do not tighten the large nut (12) after you tighten

WARNING:_______MAKE SURE THE NOSE WHEELS POINT FORWARD. IF THE NOSE WHEELS DO NOT POINT FORWARD, THE NOSE GEAR CAN QUICKLY TURN TO THE CENTERED POSITION WHEN YOU REMOVE THE TOW PIN. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Install the TOW PIN at the steering metering valve for the nose landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).
